Your guide to PollackExpress

Know where to start.

Talk through an idea, organize your notes, or record a conversation. Start with a free account. Pro and Enterprise are planned offers; you cannot purchase them yet.

Your first five minutes

  1. Create an account with email and password, or continue with Google. Use the same sign-in method when you return.
  2. Open Live Debate and ask a question, or choose Pollack.AI Meetings to record.
  3. For explanations, add a familiar interest such as a movie or game at signup. Pollack uses analogies and follow-up questions to help you reason through the topic.
  4. Save useful flashcard decks to your Vault. Download recordings you want to keep.

What each tab does

Live Debate — think through a question

Type a question and select Send. The AI is designed to guide you with analogies and back-and-forth discussion. Use the + button to load a text file, image, or PDF; then ask about it. Uploads must be under 4 MB. Responses can be wrong, so check important facts.

Mic uses supported browser speech recognition to enter a question. Enable Coach Voice to hear responses read aloud; Stop Reading stops playback. Browser voice support and permissions vary.

Study Guide — transcripts, flashcards, and mind maps

Load a public YouTube lesson URL to retrieve captions when available, or use supported AI processing when captions are unavailable. Private, restricted, or unavailable videos may fail. Transcribe Loaded Notes turns the currently loaded source into readable text; plain-text notes need no AI transcription.

Enter a topic and choose Generate Card. Click or keyboard-activate a flashcard to flip it. Generate Mind Map turns a topic or loaded notes into connected ideas. Download Transcript saves the readable text.

Vault — keep your flashcard decks

Give your generated deck a title and save it. Open saved decks from the Vault when you return, including on another signed-in device. Unsaved drafts are not a backup. Meeting recordings live in the Meetings library, separately from the Vault.

Progress — see activity and remaining limits

Review recorded activity, study time, and the daily AI outputs you have left. These are usage totals, not a grade or an assessment of understanding. Daily AI limits reset at midnight UTC.

Account & Privacy — account controls

Manage account deletion in Account & Privacy. Export Notes downloads workspace notes. Use Log Out on a shared device. Deleting your cloud account removes account-backed data; delete local meeting files first or clear this site's browser data afterward.

Pollack.AI Meetings — capture and revisit

  1. Record audio or screen: enter a title, choose audio or screen mode, and select microphone and/or computer audio. Confirm that everyone agrees to recording. Browser permission prompts appear only after you start.
  2. Share computer audio: choose a supported browser tab or screen and enable Share audio in the browser picker. If no audio is supplied, choose another source or turn off computer audio. Screen sharing is best supported on desktop Chrome or Edge.
  3. Stop & save: recordings save in this browser on this device. Sessions stop after 60 minutes. Open a library entry to play, download, edit notes, or delete it.

Upload audio imports an existing supported audio file under 250 MB into your local library. Importing audio does not automatically transcribe it. YouTube link opens the Study Guide URL input. PDF, image, or text opens the existing file picker in Live Debate.

Live captions are optional, cover microphone speech only, and depend on browser support. They may use your browser provider's speech service. For a saved or imported recording, type or paste a transcript into Transcript & notes, then Save notes. Select Use notes in Express to load that text into the workspace, then ask about it in Live Debate or generate study materials. The AI receives the text you choose to use, not an automatic understanding of the audio or video.

Storage: recordings depend on available browser storage and do not sync across devices, browsers, or domains. Clearing site data can delete them. Download important recordings. If local saving fails, keep the page open and use Download recording immediately.

When something doesn't work

I can't sign in

If you originally used Google, select Continue with Google. For an email/password account, use Forgot password on the login page. Check your inbox and spam folder. Never send your password to support.

My recording has no sound or captions

Check microphone permissions and the Share audio checkbox in your browser's sharing window. Play a short test recording before an important session. Captions do not cover shared computer audio and are not available in every browser.

I reached an AI limit

Wait for the next daily reset at midnight UTC. Your recordings and saved material remain accessible. Interest in a paid plan does not bypass the current limits.

I want to report a problem

Email pollackexpressadmin@gmail.com with what you tried, your browser/device, and any error message. Avoid including private recordings, passwords, or sensitive notes.
